Drop C Fretboard Diagrams for Common Scales (Left-Handed Edition)
This guide provides fretboard diagrams for the following scales, based on each of the twelve notes of the:
- Major Scale
- Natural Minor Scale
- Harmonic Minor Scale
- Major Pentatonic Scale
- Minor Pentatonic Scale
Each of the seven-note scales lists the notes within it, the chords that are made from those notes, a 24-frets fretboard, and the notes of each diatonic chord, as shown in the image on page 9. Note: For the scales that have the same number of alterations (six sharps or six flats), both enharmonic scales are provided; otherwise, only the scale with less alterations is provided.
For the pentatonic scales, starting on page 51, the chords are omitted, as five-note scales are more versatile in the chord construction. This guide provides no music theory, just the diagrams with the notes within the scale, so you can glance at the fretboard while improvising or composing new music.
You'll get the scale diagrams for the following scales: Major, Natural Minor, Harmonic Minor, and Pentatonic Major and Minor. In any of the 12 notes. For your reference, to watch on a tablet or computer while you play and improvise!
